About Me
Hey, I’m Jona—a 24-year-old creative based in Växjö, Sweden. I work full-time as a production manager in the event industry, and on the side, I enjoy to write and photograph. My creative work lives in the space between what has passed and what’s already fading—the quiet tension of unspoken feelings, the afterglow of motion, the stillness that lingers once meaning has moved on.
Whether I’m writing or behind a camera, the philosophy is the same: to hold what’s fading, just long enough to understand why it mattered. I do not desire to capture what the world looks like, but what it feels like when you’re fully present.
I’m drawn to mood, atmosphere and emotional undercurrents. In photography, that translates to cinematic tones and softened contrasts in the quiet balance between movement and stillness—where something has just happened, or is just about to.
In writing, it takes the form of poetic prose and minimal lyricism—often shaped as journals, tracing reflections and stories about intimacy, ephemerality, melancholy, death, and the tender art of letting go.
I aim to witness what disappears, to name what aches, and to give shape to what memory alone can’t hold. To frame what flickers before it goes dark.
I create not because I have the answer—
but because I’m still here, trying to find it.
but because I’m still here, trying to find it.
